  • Hi Danielle-the possibilities are endless on what you could do with the color palette. Even though you don't like the floral wallpaper, the color choices in there could serve as your guide. Grays, greens, even teals all go well with almond fixtures and white trim. If the green sink top is going to be there for awhile, then I would choose a gray with green undertones, like Ben Moore Storm Cloud http://www.benjaminmoore.com/en-us/paint-color/stormcloudgray#ce_s=storm cloud as your color. If the green vanity top is being replaced (and no, it doesn't have to be almond, you could definitely go with a dark gray or taupe or black) then your color choices are endless. If you like gray/blues, I personally love Smoke by Ben Moore http://www.benjaminmoore.com/en-us/paint-color/smoke, which is gray with blue undertones.

    • @Sue@CountryDesignHome I'm loving the color teal/turquoise lately.

  • There are many color choices for you to choose from, however the first suggestion I have is to consider the light and size of the bathroom. To get started I would look on Behr.com. They give you color pallets that may get you in the right direction.

  • Use a color that you find yourself gravitating towards whenever you clothes shop. If it's a it's a light color...love it! If it's somewhat darker, pic and choose where you want it. If it's a deep dark color....take a black and white photo; print on typing paper and color in where you want the super dark color to be. You can do this with any color you choose tho.

  • The wallpaper is not a true paisley and I like it! Looks European. I would paint the vanity almond and the trim white. The green looks nice but you could go a dark grey if changing. I'd also change mirror to more pewter. I'd do grey towels or the colour of your handtowel - it's spot on. Add an ornament or such sparingly in a brighter colour. I usually add a plant real or artificial, to soften lines, and add a natural look. That would work well considering the wallpaper pattern. You have the makings of a really elegant bathroom.

    • I feel so limited with this loud pattern. It's very hard to find matching shower curtains! lol

    • @Danielle King Foster You can successfully mix patterns. Maybe a subtle stripe in those colours might be something to consider. (I really like that wallpaper so am hoping you can make it work! lol)

  • I think a navy blue would be pretty.
